A moving tribute. A river of truth. A riddle for the ages. A dagger to our hubris.

We are watching another Trail of Tears but this time on our phones, iPads, laptops, and TVs. Indigenous families being herded this way and that. Go north. No go south. Hunker down. No - Run. Be glad you aren’t watching the Arabic satellite channels my friends. That’s where you really see and learn what is going on. There’s so much censorship in the free press. Freedom of the press haha. Not free at all. Trail of tears + ecocide. Don’t just bomb and bomb again. Pulverize. Hey let’s Bomb that Dust. Nothing green left. Not one flower, leaf, bird, mouse, ant, even the roaches are long gone. Three generations of children without nature.

It is the education system that is behind all of this. It is what created the Nazis. Why can't we see that when a country adopts a single perspective and shoves everyone into it, in the name of prosperity and production they also force out the brilliant and sensitive and ruin its environment and society. This time on a global level. Brilliance is born in the combination of emotions and intellect. Separating that leads to horrors.

I come from a German family who might as well still be Nazis. My mother and grandmother are incapable of love except for themselves. Yet I who is lived a childhood filled with chaos and destruction, like that puppy, loves as deeply as one can. In order for us to fix ourselves it seems we need to destroy ourselves. In that destruction we remember we must go back and combine our emotions and intellect.

So moved by this writing, grieving what deserves grieving, longing for a world without war and destruction.
